STYLE DECODE - HALF GIRLFRIEND

Hola! How have you all been doing? I'm back once again to decode Shraddha Kapoor's style in the much-awaited movie 'Half Girlfriend', which is based on Chetan Bhagat's famous novel as you'll already know. I had a few requests asking me to try and decode Shraddha aka Riya Somani's style in Half Girlfriend. The movie releases tomorrow and Shraddha can be seen playing the role of a Delhi college girl and we can't take our eyes off the chic and cute outfits she is wearing. The outfits are perfectly styled to balance her grace and her sporty avatar. I've chosen four of her looks from the movie and I'll show you how you can wear them too.  I'll also tell you how you can style it by adding your own spice to it. I hope you like it xx.

1. This look can be described in two ways- first, as a high fashion street wear and second, as a party wear, without the denim jacket, which can be worn while partying or clubbing and it won't fail to please you! Classy and comfortable, this look can be easily styled as well. Pair a brown skirt with a black top. You can use your options of wearing either a black t-shirt, tank top, or a choker top and add the final look of the outfit with your denim jacket. With this outfit, wear a dark colored, preferably black footwear. I chose to wear it with black wedge heels. Don't forget to accessorize it with a black choker and a watch.

2. This look is a casual denim on denim look. To get this look, all you need is a denim shirt, denim shorts, black belt and mustard boots. Tuck your denim shirt in your shorts and secure it with your big black belt. Finish it off in style with your mustard boots and you're ready!

3. I have tried showing a slight variation in this look. For this look, you can pair any spaghetti or sleeveless top with an olive green skirt. I opted for a black top in order to show a variation as yellow is not everybody's closet game. Pair it with a white sneaker to give it a sporty look and be comfortable for the entire day!

4.  Go easy breezy this summer with this white cold shoulder top paired with blue and white striped shorts. One can never go wrong with this classic white top-blue bottom combination! I have a preference for sneakers, and as Shraddha's footwear cannot be seen, I decided to pair it with black and white vans. You can also accessorise it in your way with subtle bracelets and a golden neckpiece.
